Looking at the illustration, it is immediately evident that the production of carbonated drinks is a manmade linear process that requires various machinery and equipment. Additionally, there are five stages involved in that process, beginning with cleaning raw water and culminating in the delivery to the supermarket.
In the first step, raw water which is stored in large warehouses going through a pipe into a room to be filtered, and then water softener and some chemicals are added. Once the water has been processed, it is then pumped on to stage 2 where it undergoes evaporation and carbonation. During this stage, the water is heated and runs through a cooling pipe before carbon dioxide is added, creating carbonated water.
In the third stage, the carbonated water is put into a mixing tank where it is mixed with colouring, syrup, and flavour. Next, The resulting mixture is filtered. Having been pumped into plastic bottles or cans. It ready to be packaged into boxes. The process ends when they are distributed to supermarkets where they are willing to be sold.
