To begin with, in 1981, consumption of butter has started just over 140 grams, then jumping and rising at aproximately 160 grams in 1986, but after reaching to its peak consumption starts a sharp declining to over 40 in 2007. Moreover, the margarine had about 90 grams and was the second largest amount in 1981, then fall down and starting a slight increase to 100 grams and stays stable until 1996. Furthermore, it is finally decreasing to 40 grams in 2007.
In contrast, the consumption of low fats and reduced spreads started at only 10 grams in 1961.In 2001, there was a dramatic rise and after rising the trend decline to about 70 grams in 2007.
