The statistics illustrate information about spending by youngsters in a country on different products between 2010 and 2014.
Overall, among all the services, people paid most for food. Payment for most of the products increased, meanwhile people paid less for books, and spending on clothes remained unchanged.
In 2010, at the highest position, about 37 million dollars was paid for food, which was twice as high as the data for toiletries. This was followed by the spending on clothes, about 25 million dollars was spent, which was 5 million dollars higher than the figure for smartphones and 2.5 times higher than the figure for books.
Thereafter, the spending on food rose to about 47 million dollars, which is double the data for toiletries. Similarly, smartphones witnessed an increase to 26 million dollars. By contrast, people spent less on books, the payment decreased to 5 million dollars, which was the bottom of the list. The spending on clothes remained unchanged.
