There are many teachers I'm grateful for, but if I had to choose one, it wouldn't be fair to the others. I'll talk about my English teacher. He was always supportive and a true guide for each student. I remember the first day he introduced himself, not just as a teacher, but as a mentor, someone who cared about our lives beyond the classroom. He had a calm and warm smile, and his classes were always interactive and engaging. He insisted on making every student participate, wanting to involve each of us. After class, he'd ask us questions like, 'What do you want to be in the future?' He wouldn't just accept a simple answer. He'd follow up with questions like, 'Why do you want to be a doctor?' or 'Why do you want to be an engineer?' These questions made us think deeply about our aspirations. I remember one student who told him he wanted to be an engineer. The teacher asked, 'Why?' The student replied, 'I want to build things, to have a role in shaping the city and modern infrastructure.' He arrived at this answer through the teacher's thoughtful questioning. He always encouraged us to participate in class, and his repeated questions made us feel like he genuinely cared about us, not just as students. After class, we'd often see him and he'd always be willing to talk and offer support.
