The bar graps presents data on the incomes of three fields to the economy in Egypt between 1982 and 2003.
Overall, while the rates of tourism and construction sectors always experienced fluctuations, though the values were different, agriculture sector almost remained stable throughout the period. Despite the fluctuations, the total amount of money flows into tourism was higher than the others.
In 1982, the profits of the tourism were approximately 0.25 billion dollars with the lowest indicators among three sectors. Nevertheless, then dramatically increased during two decades and reached the peak in 2000, representing more than 4 billions. After a slight decrease in 2001, which approximately 3.75 billions, remained unchanged the next year before falling back to 1993 levels in 2003. At the beginning of the period, the quantity of incomes from the constructions made up just over a billion dollars. The money was earned from this field, showed steady but significant increase within eighteen years and even at the end of this period, the incomes were just below 3.5 billions. But since 2000, the figure showed downward trend and reached 2.5 billion dollars in 2003.
In 1982, the benefits of the agriculture involved 1.5 billion dollars, with sharing the same figures in the years of 1995, 2002 and 2003. It’s worth to noting that the proportions of this sector showed almost the same percentages.
