According to the given charts, it is obvious that the number of Japanese tourists traveling overseas experienced a significant increased during the given period. Somewhat similarly, the percentage of Japanese visiting to Australia showed an upward trend between 1985 and 1995.
Looking first at the bar chart, it is noticeable that the number of Japanese tourists traveling aboard moderately climbed from approximately 5 million in 1985 to roughly 11 million to 1990. However, the year to 1991 witnessed a minor declined to just above 10 million . By 1995, there has been a gradual rose to around 15 million, which was the peak for given period.
Moving onto the line chart, the percentage of Japanese visiting Australia steadily grew from 2% in 1985 to around 5% in 1989, while the year to 1990 saw a slight drop to just above 4%. By 1994 there had been a gradual increased to its peak, which was just above 6%. However, the year to 1995 experienced a dip to 6%.
