The bar graph illustrates how female and male students continue their studies in Britain,as full-time and part-time education in 1970/71,1980/81 and 1990/91 time periods.
Overall,the majority of both female and male students have taken pat-time education throughout these three decades .moreover, it shows a dramatical rise in the students who took full-time education.
In 1970/71,part-time education was the highest among male and lowest among female students.It is 1000000 and around 720000 respectively.In the following decade ,the part-time education shows a significant decrease among males for about 700000 ,while ot shows a considerable increase among female student for nearly 800000.In the final decade male students who engaged in part-time education marginally rose for approximately 850000,but the female students rocketed for almost 1100000 marking the highest number overtaking the male students.
When considering about the full-time education, it shows a gradual rise in both genders.At the first given year around 100000of males’ and half of this amount of females’ were taking full time education. In 1980/81,male participants rose slightly upto 170000 ,while females’ multiplied their participation being around 200000. However, in 1990/91 both students show an equal involvements around 210000 in full-time education.
