The line graph gives information about oil production which was produced in the world between 1960 and 2000.

Overall, the amount of oil production for all the places listed experienced upward trends, albeit to varying degrees. While the figure for Middle East increased dramatically, the figure for Asia climbed slightly.

In more detail, initially, the amount of oil production which was produced in middle east was the highest with 20 million barrels. The figure for middle east went up significantly, reaching to 56 million barrels in 2000. Meanwhile, after a noticeable rise the figure for Africa reached to 30 million barrels in 1970. After a slight decline to around 20 million barrels in 1980, the amount of oil production which was produced in Africa grew dramatically from 20 million in 1980 to 40 million in 2000.

As for North America and Asia, the amount of oil production which was produced in North America stood at about 5 million barrels in 1960. After, there was a noticeable increase in the figure for North America reached to roughly 33 million barrels in 2000. Meanwhile, the figure for Asia was the lowest over the period. Initially, stood at about 5 million barrels. The figure for Asia climbed consistently reaching to 20 million barrels in the final year.
