Money is becoming more and more fundamental day by day. Some argue that it is essential for young to elderly, basically all people to control their spendings and save money for their future. I agree with this statement by nearly all means and personally think that every individual needs to educate themselves about their expenditure as long as they don’t become stingy about it, since spending can develop as a habit very quickly.
Spending money can be very attractive to the most, and for it to become an addiction is just a matter of time. This can be considered as one of the most prominent reasons for why an individual should educate themself, since it can be very detrimental financially. Former NBA player Steph Johnson, for example, earned millions of dollars playing basketball. He spent all his money on unnecessary things like cars, houses, even lost most of it through gambling and ended up not saving or investing any of it at all. After his career came to an end, his addiction became more dominant in his demeanor since he wasn’t employed. Steph Johnson ended up losing more than he had, and is homeless right now. He wouldn’t be in this situation if he educated himself financially beforehand. However some people go beyond limits whilst trying to do so.
Saving money is very advantageous, in any situation, but only if the right amount of it is provided. Some people start taking saving money too far in specific situations such as when they’re out with their friends, drinking a coffee, having lunch or so. If an individual is acting reluctant to spend money while hanging out with their friends, it can leave an effect such as not feeling worthy to spend money together on the opposite side which can lead the connection between them to teeter. As being said, it is clear that it’s a need to have boundaries while learning how to save earnings.
To sum up, learning how to save money is essential for any age, though it is a topic to be careful about. If saving is learnt the wrong way, it can lead to a variety of problems such as damaging relationships with people.
