The bar charts compare the expectation of European youth for change in five different areas including health, air quality, water quality, food quality, and people communication in the next two decades. Overall, these young people were optimistic in people communication area while they were pessimistic in the air quality sector.
In detail, more than half of them believed that people communication will improve in the next twenty years, and just a third of them argue that it will get worse. However, in comparison the other areas have lower expectations with mild disbelieve for food quality at 48% positive in improvement while 52% believe the other way around.
Moreover, health and water quality areas experienced lower confidence in the majority of the young people, at just 40% believe in improvement while the majority at 60% said it will deescalate. At last, the young people have extreme disbelieve towards the air quality improvement at just 22% of them sure in better condition while the remaining majority at 78% disaprove it.
