As it is observed, no car household percentage was the highest in 1971 but steadily declined over the period. Considerably, one-car households increase the trend, while those with two cars, though initially lower.
In 1971, no car household percentage was approximately 47 percent, as opposed to, in 2001, no car households decreased by roughly 27 percent. Instead, one car household in 1991 had the largest percentage, more than 40 percent. However, from 1981 to 2001, two or more car household percentages were almost the same in the region of 27 percent, but in 1971, these users were less than 20 percent. Whereas, two more cars, all household percentages considerably more than 20 percent. As opposed to no car household, one car household increased the percentage from 1971 to 1991, whereas in 2001 these user percentages declined.
