The column graph represents the data about oil production in some middle east countries from 1990 to 2010.
Over the whole time period, Saudi Arabia showed the highest indicators which increased dramatically, while Qatar achieved the weakest numbers with no radical changes. A different pattern emerged for Iran, Iraq, Kuwait and UAE, their parameters grew slightly but steadily till 2010.
In 1990, manufacturing black gold was about 8.5 millions of barrels per day and this number rapidly rose till 12.5 in 2005. Then it continued growing drastically and reached the peak of 15 millions 5 years later. On the other hand Quatar demonstrated almost no progress in producing oil during this 20 year period, except little rise up to 1 million in 2000. However after this year numbers remained steady 0.5 till 2010.
Other Gulf countries’ numbers had a similar tendency to grow slowly without any fluctuations throughout the period. UAE, Kuwait and Iraq reached approximately two millions in 1990 and these indicators gradually upgraded till almost 4 by 2010. Iran’s numbers changed positively from 3 millions at the start of the period to 4.
