The bar chart provides information about the percentage of people living in England, Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland, and the UK in 1985 and provides projections for 2035.

Overall, the percentages increased in most areas, especially in Wales, while Northern Ireland showed the lowest figures throughout the period. In addition, all regions experienced some changes between 1985 and 2035.

In 1985, the percentage in England was about 15%, and it increased to around 19% in 2035. Similarly, Wales rose from approximately 16% to about 26%, showing the highest figure. In contrast, Scotland experienced a slight decrease to around 14% before rising to 25% in 2035. Northern Ireland had the lowest percentage at about 12% in 1985, which increased to around 23% by the end of the period. The UK overall also grew from about 15% to approximately 23%.

In 2035, Wales recorded the highest percentage at over 26%. England also increased to around 19%. Scotland rose significantly to nearly 25%, while Northern Ireland reached approximately 22%. Similarly, the UK overall experienced steady growth, ending at about 23%.
