In our contemporary world, fossil fuels like coal and oil are crucial for world’s industry and transportation. Additionally, the largest amount of electricity is produced by using these resources. Unfortunately, we might encounter some problems relate to the shortage of fossil fuels worldwide. Thus, how can we save fossil fuels, and are there any alternatives to them. In my following essay, I will explain the answers to the questions according to my own knowledge.
On the one hand, there are two obvious factors to save fossil fuels. Firstly, governments should limit the amount of fossil fuels that, are used and mined daily. Due to the fact, when they do like that, factories start to save their resources by using energy-effective devices and machines to consume less energy and produce more products. Furthermore, governments make new laws that create more opportunities to build stations that produce eco-energy. As a result, more investors want to invest their money in building these kinds of stations instead of conventional ones. Consequently, the amount of renewable energy is produced and contributes to save fossil fuels.
Moreover, there are some alternative recourses which we can use them instead of traditional fuels. Solar energy, for instance, we need only solar panels and the light of the sun to produce electricity. In addition, it is cost-effective and environmentally friendly. If governments build more solar energy stations around the world, we do not have to use coal or oil to make energy. What is more, nuclear stations are also one solution to the problem. However, uranium is needed to generate electricity, one piece of that element can be reused multiple times. Equally, these are so efficient and safer.
Ultimately, some solutions which I mentioned above, can be beneficial to saving the traditional-energies. Solar and nuclear energy can be used instead of them.
