There is no denying the fact that individual shopping habits have a major influence on the local and global economy. While it is a commonly held belief that online shopping has become more popular and convenient than traditional shopping, there is also an argument that opposes this idea. This essay will analyze this topic from both points of view and express my opinion.
On one hand, online shopping websites offer a wide range of goods that you can buy without having to make time to visit different, stores while you can get anything you want with just one click. In other words, this will give busy working people the perfect opportunity to cover their daily needs without having to worry about taking time from their busy schedule. In addition, online shopping these days offers good quality items at a reasonable price range. For example, Shein it is a very popular shopping platform that you can find very diverse pieces that fit almost everyone’s taste at a great cost.
On the other hand, the high increase in the numbers of online shopping websites made it difficult to trust the quality of the items they are selling. It is also possible to say that this increase led to the trend of mass production which has a negative impact on workers and consumers. This initiated a decrease in the quality of the items, also the workload made so many factory workers to quit their jobs. Moreover, some websites trick people into purchasing products that they do not need and spending more money. For instance, social media leaks of users information made it easier for hese websites to make ads that target different audience by their interests.
In conclusion, there are no easy answers to this question. On balance, however, I tend to believe that traditional store shopping is still better and more trusted than online shopping.
