The pie chart illustrates how visitors in Britain are distributed to different types of tourist attractions, in 1999.
Initially, visitors are mostly attracted to theme parks, along with museums and galleries. These two main places are hosting majority of all tourists by 75%. Furthermore, theme parks include variety of activities. For instance, Blackpool Pleasure Beach for entertainment by the water or for lego lovers there is one Legoland in Windsdor. Adittionally, Alton Towers are favoured by many participants as well. Though those are not the only places to experience a theme, as there are few more to explore. For example, Pleasureland in Southport and Chessington World of Adventures are quite trendy as well.
As for the rest 25%, historic houses and monuments host 16%, while wildlife parks and zoos are the least preferred with 9%. Britain offers many activities, it appears that some are chosen more than the others.
