I think one of the major changes in my life was my school moving to a new building 7 km away from my house. I was used to getting to school on foot my whole life. I got used to the fact that I didn't need to wait for a bus to get somewhere, but now I do it every single morning. I had to get used to waking up earlier than I did and memorizing the bus schedule to know the times they would arrive. It was also hard to adapt to those crowded mornings where you had to literally squeeze yourself into public transport just to avoid being late for your first period. That was challenging, but I did adapt to these changes. I started waking up at 5 a.m. just to get everything done, have my breakfast, and get ready for school. I also began doing my homework early in the mornings, and that actually helped me cope with those changes because now I go to bed earlier and wake up at 5 a.m. I think I love these changes that helped me build my discipline. This experience showed me how my classmates were getting to our previous building, so I kind of started living in their shoes and they in mine.
