I remember the day when I wholeheartedly desired to master calligraphy because I was tired of buying expensive postcards, and I wanted to have the ability to write my own words for my friends and family on postcards. So I was very willing to master this skill. But the only snag was that my handwriting was just terrible. I had to start from scratch to develop a new one. Eventually, I created my own unique handwriting, which was so beautiful that all my friends asked me for help with their postcards. I even wrote invitations for my sister's wedding once, which pleased me greatly.
