One place I have been to in Pakistan where things are quite expensive is Mahalo Flauor, which is located in the upscale area of Lahore. I went there last year with a couple of my US friends just to hang out and do some window shopping after our exam. The mall itself is very impressive. It has a luxurious atmosphere with marble floors, bright lighting, and a lot of international brands. We visited a few stores like Kadi, Outfitter, and Nike, and I was honestly surprised by the prices. Even simple items like t-shirts were way above what I had expected to pay. Eventually, I just bought a small perfume and a cup of coffee, but even that cost me more than I usually spend on lunch. I think things are expensive mainly because it's located in one of the most affluent parts of the city, where the target customers are from the upper middle or upper class. The rent of shops is extremely high, and most of the products are branded or imported, which naturally increases their price. Plus, the mall is designed to give people a premium shopping experience; it's clean, air-conditioned, and has a very modern vibe. That kind of environment always comes at a cost. Even though it was pricey, I really enjoyed the visit because it felt different from the usual markets or malls I go to. The atmosphere was relaxing, and it was nice to just walk around and admire all the stylish displays. It is definitely not the kind of place I would visit regularly, but it was an interesting experience nonetheless.
