An environmental problem or event that I faced recently was actually a cleanliness issue at a Japanese restaurant. My family and I were there to celebrate my 25th birthday, and we were seated at a table near the cashier. We ordered Japanese food such as sushi, Japanese rice, teriyaki, and Japanese tofu. While we were eating, I saw a mini cockroach on the seat where I was sitting, and I immediately jumped out of my seat in fear because I am very afraid of cockroaches. Because of this, I was very hesitant to continue eating at the restaurant. I called over the waitress to help rectify the problem. The waitress helped to clean up the area and eventually disposed of the cockroach. Because of this issue, the restaurant gave a complimentary Japanese dessert, which was an ice cream waffle dessert, as well as a mini birthday gift to celebrate my birthday. After that day, I did not go back to the restaurant for any meals because of the incident. From that day onwards, I made sure that any restaurant I go to must be clean and free of insects.
