Well, I think infrastructure is essential for the progress of a nation. Development sectors like education, healthcare, and housing are critical. Today, I would like to talk about the recent development of my country, which is related to the transportation sector. About a year ago, our honorable Prime Minister, Sheik Hasina, opened the Dhaka Metro Rail on 29 December 2022. The Dhaka Metro Rail can carry 16,000 people at a time. The length of the Dhaka Metro Rail is 20 kilometers, and it connects 16 stations from Uttara to Motijheel. The Metro Rail project is a dream project for Dhaka city dwellers. The Metro Rail is a commendable achievement that regularly facilitates travel to different locations. I highly recommend this journey. It is not only affordable but also a convenient and time-saving mode of transportation. I think our government should connect other cities with this type of rail station. It reduces traffic jams and air pollution. This train has special seats for women and elderly passengers. It is controlled by a computer, runs on electricity, and it is very impressive to talk about.
