It was my first day at school. I knew no one; everybody in my class had a friend or a playmate. During the lunch break, I was alone, sitting in my corner enjoying my lunch when one of my classmates approached me. He asked, "Can I sit beside you?" I nodded solemnly. He sat by me and introduced himself. He said, "I am Amin, by the way. What's your name?" I responded, "I am Kasim." He said, "Welcome to our class. Feel free, if you need any help with anything, you can ask me." So we had a great chat. I was very happy because he lifted the burden of loneliness from me. I was very happy. I never expected anyone would be thoughtful enough to come to my side when I needed someone to speak with the most. It was very dear to me during school days. We still keep in touch even after school.
