The bar chart illustrates the number of people annually visiting three museums: the National Museum of China, the Edo Museum in Tokyo, and the MET Museum in New York, from 2000 to 2005.
Looking at an overall perspective, it is readily apparent that the museum in China was the most popular in 2005, followed by the museum located in New York throughout the period given. Additionally, the number of visitors going to the National Museum of China increased every year, while the Edo Museum had a significant drop.
With about 12 million visits in 2000, the Metropolitan Museum in New York had the second most visitors at the start of the period. This number, however, fell sharply by half to about 6 million in 2001 before progressively rising to slightly over 14 million by 2005. In terms of the National Museum of China, it began with only roughly 6 million visitors, but it witnessed a considerable growth, reaching its peak of approximately 16 million tourists in the final year.
At the beginning of the period, the Edo Museum in Tokyo had the most visitors, with over 14 million in 2000 and 2001. Since then, the number fell rapidly to a bit over 6 million in 2003. The museum, since then, moderately went up and concluded with fewer visitors than it started, with roughly 10 million in 2005.
