Overall, it is clear that the 16-30 and 31-50 age group consistently had the highest levels of internet usage throughout the period. furthermore, the youngest and oldest groups remained the least active users, in addition most of categorise experienced slight growth over the three years period.
In the younger categorise, usage increased steadily. to elaborate, those under 20 rose from around 41% in 1998 to approximately 44% in 2000, remaining lower than the middle-aged groups despite the gradual growth. Similarly, individuals aged 50 and above showed the smallest proportions overall, with only a marginal rise from about 9% to 10%.
As far as the middle-aged groups are concerned, they maintained the highest figures. Users aged 21-30 reached about 53% in 1998 before declining slightly to 44% in 2000. The 31-50 group followed a similar pattern, climbing to 45% in 1999 and then dropping to around 37% in 2000. Despite these minor changes, both groups consistently outperformed all other age categories
