Image for topic: The maps below show the changes made to Chelton Bay between 1980 and the present. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.
Our system will evaluate the answer based on this AI-generated description.
The image contains two maps, one for 1980 and one for the Present. The 1980 map shows a wildlife sanctuary and a lake in the west. A central Park Road separates these from 4 factories to its east. North of the factories are a woodland and 4 sand dunes. A recycling plant is located on the coast, south of the sand dunes, with a port to its south and the sea to the east. The Present map shows a research centre north of the wildlife sanctuary. A golf course is north of the smaller lake. A new Forest Road connects Park Road to the west. Where the 4 factories were, there are now 3 hotels. The woodland has been replaced by a shopping area. The sand dunes and recycling plant have been replaced by a beach and an aquarium. A path connects the shopping area to the beach. The port remains in the same location by the sea. A compass is shown in the 1980 map, and a legend for 'Path' is in the Present map.
Given the complexity of the image, the above description may not be entirely accurate.

The two site plans demonstrate how Chelton Bay has changed over time since 1980 until now. Overall, a substantial change has been made in all locations of the region, with construction of various new touristic facilities, making the Bay a site which is significantly more commercial than before.

While Chelton Bay has been remodeled completely in all areas, on the east side of the Park Road has undergone more dramatic changes. Sand dunes which previously occupied the northeast side of the coastal area have been transformed into a large beach area. Likewise, the woodland and recycling plant were completely demolished and turned into a shopping area and aquarium respectively, joined by installation of a narrow new pathway between the two.

With regards to the west side of the Park Road, the most notable change was the south area where the factories were entirely replaced by hotels. In the northwest side of the plans, the wildlife sanctuary has been reduced to half of its original size in order to accommodate a research center just beside it. On the south of the new road named Forest Road, which is situated just below the sanctuary, a golf course was created, taking over nearly the half size of what used to be the lake. It is assumed a facility such as a golf course and the lake area have been remodeled in order to allure more tourists in the hotel area.
