The pie charts provide information about the proportions of energy that were produced in a country in two years: 1983 and 2003. Units are measured in percentages.
Overall, the largest and the smallest proportions of energy stayed in the same place, comparing the two given years. The strongest decrease happened in Natural Gas and in Coal, meanwhile production of Nuclear Power stayed almost at the same level.
According to the pie charts, in 1983 Oil production accounted for 42%; however, in 2003 it was reduced by 4%. While Coal experienced the sharpest decline: from 23% in 1983 to 13% in 2003.
In contrast, the strongest increase occurred in Natural Gas, where it benefited by 10% comparing the two given years. Simultaneously, there are some areas that have not changed a lot during this period of time, such as Hydropower that stayed at exactly the same level and Nuclear power dropped by 4% drawing parallels between 1983 and 2003.
