While museums retain their significance in public education, access to them is becoming less affordable. As for me, different parts of society, such as governmental bodies, entrepreneurs and separate individuals must take action collaboratively on their levels to facilitate the operation of museums.
Regarding legal authorities, there is an obvious reason to take the initiative in supporting museums as the latter ones are an integral part of each state’s uniqueness. Governments can allocate annual budget for museums’ needs equally as it does for other important structures like schools, colleges, libraries. Doing so will lead to the efficient workflow and administration of the forementioned organizations, with shifted attention of the management to the quality of exhibitions which represent heritage and history of the country rather than lack of financing. However, there might be some obstacles related to the prioritization of medical field, science or technology. For instance, any unpredictable situation like the infection outbreak would force legal bodies to redistribute finances between sectors enforcing the medical service.
The next viable solution can be found among businesses which can use this opportunity beneficially for them. As an illustration, donating money on the museums’ development can allow private companies to set their advertisements in museums’ settings, promoting products and services offered by these companies. As a result, a wider audience will be attracted, increasing companies’ revenues.
On the individual scale, volunteering can be implemented in respect to supporting operations of museums. A case in point would be the collaborative work of locals in cleaning territories, checking tickets, turning the invisible commitments into tangible outcomes. In this situation, money would be saved for greater purposes.
In conclusion, if everyone, from governmental bodies to private companies, pitches in, the future of museums will be secured providing invaluable experience and knowledge to all circles of society.
