e line graph illustrates the amount of energy generated by three types of renewable energy sources in Qatar over a 12-month period, starting from January.
Overall, hydropower consistently produced the highest amount of energy, although it experienced significant fluctuations, while solar energy showed a steady increase and ended the period as the lowest source. Wind energy fluctuated moderately throughout the year.
At the beginning of the year, hydropower generated around 800 units. It then fell slightly to approximately 600 units before rising sharply to just over 1200 units between February and May. This was followed by a drop of about 400 units in June. After some minor fluctuations during the summer, hydropower increased again, reaching roughly 1400 units in November and ending the year as the highest energy source.
Wind energy showed irregular changes throughout the year, falling to around 700 units at its lowest point. In contrast, solar energy increased gradually, peaking at approximately 800 units in August, before declining slightly to about 300 units at the end of the period, remaining the lowest of the three sources.
