It’s clear from the chart that the starting position of Albert’s, 26 years old former college athlete, pulse rate is higher than Mabel’s, who is a 36 years old office worker, being 80 and nearly 62 bpm respectively. Both these graphs are increasing untill the second minute, however the athlete’s pulse rate rises significantly less rapidly than office worker’s: while Albert’s pulse rate is increasing, topping at 120 bpm, Mabel’s heartbeat rate is soaring to 150 bpm. From the second minute to the end of the experiment, both graphs remain downward trend, culminating at 60 bpm for Albert and 80 bpm for Mabel.
