Yes, I think young people read fewer books nowadays. One main reason is technology. Many young people spend a lot of time on their smartphones, social media, or watching videos, so they do not have much time to read books. In addition, digital entertainment is often more attractive and faster than reading. However, some young people do read books, especially e-books or novels that are interesting to them. So, although reading has decreased, it has not completely disappeared.
