The given charts reveal the information about perceived hazard and tendency of being victim of crimes in two different periods, according to crimes’ categories.
Overall it can be seen that in average, car crime had the highest figures in both perceived and actual likelihood of being victims comparing to other types. Moreover, perceived dangers had higher percentage than the actual tendencies.
Burglary and violent crime had the same figures in perceived hazard in both 2009-2010 and 2010-2011, which were accounted for just over 15% and approximately 14%, respectively. However, there were slight differences in actual likelihood in both periods.
Car crime, which had the highest figures of all types, had just above one-fifth of all perceived danger from 2009 to 2010, and had around 17% of perceived danger. Additionally, the actual likelihood of being victims had decreased minimally from almost 5% to around 4%.
