The diagram demonstrates the different stages of publishing a book, starting with initial writing stage and ending with distributing books to bookshops.
Overall, it is clear that publishing a book is linear, multi-stage processes consisting of nine main steps firstly writers’ first time noted manuscript and finally transporting and spreading final product to bookshops.
At the first stage, the author writes a manuscript, and send it to publishing houses to make a contract. Then, it studies by editors to assess its’ quality and suitability for publication. If the work is considered finally, the house makes a contract by writer.
Following the agreement stage, attention moves to design of the book. First, the layout is being designed and the final design of book starts to be printed in large quantities. After printing the books’ cover is designed and binded.
In the final stage, the finished books are distributed to bookshops, where they become available to purchase by the public.
