Nowadays, education is becoming increasingly important in the 21st century due to the fact that many scholars define twenty-first century as an information era. Therefore, there is ongoing debate about the education system’s priorities. Some people argue that science is more crucial than art in terms of allocating funds to education system. However, in my point of view, Art classes also has crucial role in the education system. There are solid reasons why funds must be allocated equally by government to both science and art classes. These reasons which are ability of critical thinking necessity, having a different angle of approach apart from general and also arts is an identity of nation.
First and foremost, this is a clear fact that critical thinking skills are one the most vital ability which people of twenty first century must have because of the fact that in today’s world we tend to allocate the ordinary jobs to artificial intelligence so people must be able to think differently compared to general opinions in order to become different than ai and thanks to that reach success. At that point art classes can be very beneficial when it comes to gaining critical thinking ability. Moreover, art has a key factor in order to create national bond among the citizen. Therefore, it becomes part of identity of nation.
Furthermore, arts are having inherently different environment than other issues owing to the fact that they contain a lot of creative ideas in terms of various areas so these ideas generally shaped society’s perspectives. In addition to that, the major difference between human and artificial intelligence is creativity. AI actions only based on human ideas. Thus, art lessons, very convenient so as to trigger creative ideas because if a person take arts classes, they will have a different angle of approach to world. At that point Arts education is very beneficial when it comes to competition between ai and human in terms of allocation a job.
Taking into account all these factors mentioned above, we can safely arrive that teaching arts is as important as teaching science because there are number of abilities that a person must have in this information era so the art classes can be useful in order to deliver this abilities to society.
