The bar chart compares the proportion of people who recycle their garbage, in five nations-UK, USA, Japan, Singapore and Germany between 1992 and 2004.Overall, there was an increase to varying degrees in recycling the rubbish in UK, USA, while Japan and Singapore experienced a decline. Notably, UK had the highest recycling rate during the period, whereas Germany had the lowest point despite no change
Regarding the decline trends, the UK stood at around 27% in 1992, the figure that then rose considerable to all-time high of roughly 33% in 2004.Similarly, recycling in USA was increased negligibly from well over 15% to about 19% in 2004 , with ranking top third.
Turning to decline trends, Japan equaled to about 12 in 1992, the figure which was experienced a significant decrease to roughly 7% in 2004. Meanwhile, there was a considerable drop from roughly 7% to 5% between 1992 and 2004.
Germany was only category which remained stable at 5% with making it the lowest point over the timeframe.
