The bar chart above represent the average percentage spenton food, housing, fuel and power, clothong and footware, household goods, personal goods, transport and leisure in their household per week in 1968 and 2018.

Families allocated large percentage of their income on Food in 1968 while 10% and below were devoted to other expenses. Home goods was devoted same percentage on both periods. in 2018, Leisure had the highest percentge of spending while below 20% were expended on others.

in 1968, 35% of the families earning were spent on food while housing and clothing and footware recorded 10% of their income. While,below 10% was disbursed to the others the others (Fuel and power, Household goods, Personal goods,Transportation, and Leisure).
