Families allocated large percentage of their income on Food in 1968 while 10% and below were devoted to other expenses. Home goods was devoted same percentage on both periods. in 2018, Leisure had the highest percentge of spending while below 20% were expended on others.
in 1968, 35% of the families earning were spent on food while housing and clothing and footware recorded 10% of their income. While,below 10% was disbursed to the others the others (Fuel and power, Household goods, Personal goods,Transportation, and Leisure).
Meanwhile, in 2018, Leisure got the largest portion of about 23% followed by housing which got a little below 20%. Next is Transport which took about 14%. The others (fuel and power,Clothing and footware, Household goods,and Personal Goods) took below 10% of the household income.
