The map demonstrates two possible different locations in which a new supermarket can be built.
First of all, although the first possible site for building the new supermarket is far from the town centre, not being ideal for residents due to its distance from the town center, it is close to the countryside, the railway and the main road, making it more suitable for the travellers. Moreover, it is far away from industrial areas, so it is less noisy and less polluted. / is not as noisy as the other one
The second planned site is located in the middle of the town centre. While this may sound good for the sake of people living there and being close to the housing and industry, the constant noise coming from the industry could create an issue. However, being close to the railway and the housing would be an advantage for the supermarket.
Overall, the first location would be suitable for people who don’t live nearby and sales likely to only come mainly from the people using the main road and railway. When everything is taken into consideration, the second location would be better suited for the supermarket as income is going to be high due to its location.
