Overall, boys generally loved to spend their free time going to the park and playing sports, while girls represented a greater interest in art and crafts. It is also noticeable that both genders accounted for the same proportion for playing computer games.
In terms of art and crafts, approximately 7% of boys liked to spend their time on this activity, compared to around 25% of females. For reading books, about 10% of boys enjoyed doing it, while the figure for females was significantly higher at roughly 18%. Boys and girls both accounted for the same proportions at about 15% for computer games.
Regarding DVDs, nearly 15% of boys loved to watch, as opposed to around 17% of girls. As for going to the park, the percentage of boys (at around 25%) was far higher than that of the girls (at nearly 12%). For playing sports, the proportions for boys and girls were around 28% and 12% respectively.
