The diagram demonstrates the method of rainwater harvesting system, where the rainwater is gleaned and converted into drinking purpose in an Australian town.
Overall, the process is a quite linear and straightforward to follow with little complexity.
Initially, a huge amount of rainwater is collected under the pipe from the roof of the house. Afterwards, the rainwater is drained towards underground and transferred into a water filter. Later on, filteration step is carried out, and filtered water is stored in a storage tank.
Moreover, water is further treated ahead, and send to the water treatment tank. Inside this tank, the chemicals are added to prevents a water from the germs. Ultimately, rainwater is converted into a pure water. And, like this drinking water is made from rainwater and people can finally drinks it.
