The graphic illustrates the steps and apparatus involved in recycled paper production.
Overall, this process includes multiple stages commencing with transferring the used papers to the shredder, followed by a series of processing procedures, culminating in rolling with high temperature to make final products.
The multi-stage process begins when the conveyor belt transports each used paper block into the giant shredder. These blocks are then crushed and mixed with water as well as chemicals to make pulp. After that, this mixture is transported to a filter system, where impurities such as unfiltered pulp are removed.
Once the extraction of water and unfiltered pulp has been completed, the rest of the pulp is then sent from a pipe to a machine, where water and soap are added to wash as well as de-inking the pulp to make a lighter colour for products. The amount of ink is then discharged in this stage. After that, the pulp is washed again at the second machine, containing water and chemicals, before being transferred to heat rollers, where the pulp is heat-treated to become recycled paper, ready to be consumed.
