So I’m from Nemangan in the eastern part of the Pakistan and if I had to pick one place that represented it best, it would be Zaid Garden, which is part of a larger area called Asan Alar Vodisi right here in Mahantan. I usually go with when I want to relax or clear my mind and especially after long hours of studying, it’s fairly quiet in the mornings away from the noise of the city centre so I can just walk around, sit near the greenery and think in peace. Sometimes I go alone when I need silence but other times I go with family especially when we want to visit the shopping center together afterwards. What makes this place genuinely historical in a way is the mosque. It’s designed to have a traditional architectural style that you can trace back generations. Even though the wider The garden area is relatively modern. It still carries a strong sense of cultural continuity as for the shopping center. I haven’t actually explored it fully yet, so it’s somewhere I would definitely like to go back in the future. I’ve heard it has sections selling local handicrafts, which I’m quite curious about. If I ever had to recommend this place to someone, I would say it’s perfect for people who want to experience a bit of everything nature, culture, and modern life without having to travel far.
