The population of city A stood at approximately 8 million in 1980, before rising to 16 million in 2000. By contrast, city B began at 5 million, while population of City C was at 3 million in 1980. Over the following two decades the population of city B experienced a steady increase reaching 10 million , while that of city C rose gradually to 5 million.
In 2000, the figure of city A showed a constant increase from about 16 million to reach a peak of 23 million in 2020. Meanwhile, population of City B grew to approximately 15 million from 10 million, while that of city C reached moderately 8 million from 5million in the final years.
