The line graph illustrates the number of armed robbery, assault, and murder that happened in London from 2003 to 2012. Overall, the number of Armed Robbery increased sharply, whereas Assault rose over the period. The numbers of murders remained stable between 2003 and 2012.
In 2003 Armed Robbery recorded the highest number at around 3.400 compared with Assault and Murder that only show figures by 2.400 and 500 respectively. By 2004, Armed robbery peaked, by the numbers of 3.700. However, from 2004 to 2008 the number of crime caused by Armed Robbery decreased dramatically, and then steady rise again until 2012.
The number of assault constant in the second position. However, by 2007, it reached 2.300, overtook Armed Robbery, made it in the highest position. While Armed Robbery and Assault changed over the year, Murder remained stable. In 2003, Murder only recorded figures by 500 and steadily increased to 9.000 in 2005. Furthermore, between 2006 and 20012 the number of Murder always under 1.000, it means if murder didn’t experiencing a significant changes throughout the period.
