I would like to talk about the turning point in my life that happened about a year ago. When I was due to receive the result of my first essay, then I had prepared intensely, often staying up late and sacrificing sleep to study online which left me physically and mentally exhausted. On exam day I took a taxi to the center but heavy traffic brought us to stand still. I was extremely anxious and although I briefly thought about running it was too far by the time I arrived The doors were closed and I was refused entry for being late. I was devastated and spent days relying on the plane, the incident in my mind. However, the setback became a blessing in disguise. Instead of giving up, I started again and prepared even harder for our last 3 months. Every practice test and mistake brought me closer to my goal. When I retook the SAT, I arrived early, stied and stayed calm and did my best. A few weeks later I received a score beyond my expectations. I passed with flying colors and the experience taught me the previous server and resilience can turn setbacks into success.
