Overall, it is evident that the figure of Germany accounted for the highest percentage in terms of females, whereas Switzerland led the group in males. Notably, the proportions for the United States, Britain and Germany are the same for males. However, the shares of both genders in Japan are the lowest, compared with the other four countries.
Regarding the significant figures first, Switzerland witnessed the greatest percentage of males with higher education qualification, at 45%, which is the same figure with the share of qualified females in Germany. Meanwhile, the females from the United States accounted for the second highest figure among five countries’ females.
In terms of the remaining features, Japan recorded the lowest proportion of males and females graduates, at 30% and 25%, respectively, while the same rate which is 35% among males belonged to the United States, Britain and Germany.
