I am a movie buff, and I like to watch movies of all genres. Nowadays, I mostly watch movies on streaming platforms like Netflix and Amazon Prime for special movies, especially those starring my favorite actors or the big blockbusters. I enjoy seeing them at the movie theater. As far as characters go, I feel that there have been many memorable and iconic ones that I have admired so far. Here, I would like to talk about the main character of the movie Lal Singh Chadda, which is an Indian Bollywood movie and its remake and adaptation of the classic Hollywood movie Forrest Gump. I watched this movie on its release day, the first show in the theater. I was eagerly waiting for the movie as it stars my favorite actor, Aamir Khan, who plays the character of Lal Singh Chadda. It was delayed several times due to COVID restrictions. The main character, Lal Singh Chadda, is portrayed as a slow-witted but kind-hearted man. In the movie, he recounts his life story to some passengers he meets on the train. The film is about his extraordinary journey and devotion to his loved ones and duties. His life is full of miracles. As a child, he wears leg braces due to a physical disability, but one day, when some bullies are chasing him, he runs, his braces fall off, and he becomes faster and faster. After college, he joins the army, where he performs very well and is rewarded for saving several lives during the war. He returns home and starts an underwear company with a partner who is actually a terrorist he saved. His company does quite well and becomes popular throughout his country. People are very fond of this character because, in this movie, when he eventually stops running, it signifies a significant moment.
