One skill I learned from a family member is cooking. My mother taught me how to cook simple meals such as fried rice, soup, and pasta. She started teaching me when I was about 13 years old. At first, I only helped her wash vegetables and prepare the ingredients. Gradually, she showed me how to use different cooking techniques and season food properly. After a few months of practice, I became much more confident in the kitchen. I think this skill is very useful because I can have my own meals whenever I want. It also helps me save money instead of buying fast food. In addition, cooking is relaxing for me, and I enjoy making food for my family. I believe it is an important life skill that everyone should learn because it makes people more independent and healthy. That's all. Thank you.
