One thing that I've changed about myself is that I became more confident and tried to socialize with other people. In the past, I was the kind of girl who was introverted. I would just sit by myself in the corner of the classroom and wait for someone to approach me. But then one day I realized that I would never get a friend if I never tried to socialize, because no one sees the potential in me, so there would be no reason for them to come up to me and strike a conversation. So I tried to change. On the first day, there was this girl who was known for being popular, and she was very nice to everyone, including me. On the first day, I tried to say hi to her, and then the following day, I would strike a conversation with her, starting by asking her how to do math questions. Eventually, we got to know each other and started hanging out. Through that situation, I got a lot of opportunities in my life. I got accepted into some organizations that I had dreamed of, and I had been rejected dozens of times before. But I think because of my confidence and social skills, I got accepted into organizations that required me to be quite well known. It also improved other people's lives as well, because I tend to feel bad for anyone who was left behind, so I would just be friends with them even though I heard dozens of rumors about them, but I still try not to let people out.
