Band 6+: Rapid population growth in cities has brought with it many problems. What are these problems? How can the quality of life of city residents be maintained?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

The question of rapid population growth in cities has been a subject of intense academic and social debate. While I acknowledge that there are several factors contributing to this problem, it is my firm conviction that some remedial measures can help maintain the quality of life of city residents, as will be discussed in this essay.

There are several compelling factors contributing to rapid population growth in cities.Chief among these is competition for resources. This phenomenon is often rooted in the fact that there are too many people and not enough resource. In a broader sense, this lead to higher house price and rent, more expensive food and education. A prime illustration of this can be seen in big cities where many people cannot afford basic needs. Consequently, crime rates may rise and the gap between rich and poor may become wider.Furthermore, environmental damage is also valued as a significant contributor. Thus, it is understandable why this aspect is importan.

Regarding the second question, I maintain that solution to address the issue represent a more viable profound solution.Primarily, being prepared for rapid population growth serves as a crucial catalyst for improving life in cities. Unlike other minor factors, this ensures that there are enough houses, schools and better healthcare services. This, in turn, paves the way for a better quality of life. This is best exemplified by building more apartments and schools, improving healthcare and developing satellite cities to reduce the number of people in big cities.Additionally, the long-term implications of teaching people about safe sex and birth control cannot be overlooked. Although some might argue that these measure are difficult to implement, this line of reasoning is somewhat flawed as it fails to account for their long term benefits.

In conclusion, although rapid population growth can be caused by competition for resources and environmental problems, I reiterate my stance that some issue to address a relatively important issue.Overall, better preparation and education should be prioritized to achieve more sustainable and beneficial results in the long run.
