The diagram illustrates the process of manufacturing wool.
Overall, this process involves multiple steps, beginning with grazing sheep in farms and ending with products made by this sheep’s wool.
Initially, sheep are raised on farms for their wool. Once they have grown sufficient wool, they are sheared by farmers to obtain the raw material. The wool, after that, is moved to the cleaning step where it is cleaned to remove dirt and other impurities. In the next step, this pure wool is dried outside under the sunshine in order to prepare for the spinning stage. After being dried, the wool is spun into string which then can be translated into a recycling step.
In contrast, wool after being spinned handy, is wound into balls. Next, these balls are turned into tufts, then stored in tuft storage to ensure they are kept away from dust and dirty. After being kept in tuft storage, balls of yarn appear which can be used for two different purposes. The first purpose is that these balls can be used for knitting some handmades such as crafts or gloves for example. Lastly, the other purpose is that they can be used for manufacturing daily productions like jackets and carpets.
