The information illustrates the production of wool from sheep.
Overall, the process consists of mainly 10 steps, along with two steps for recycling as well. It can be seen that first, a sheep is sheared, and after some processes, it is sent for spinning, which then is converted into wools and strings. The wool is trasformed into balls of yarns in step 9, which is thereafter used for knitting and making jackets and carpets. At the same time, the string is sent for the recycling process.
In the first step, when there is enough hair grown on the sheep’s body, the sheep is sent to shearing step, where it is sheared and the hair is sent for cleaning. After this, the hair is dried under natural sunlight and subsequently sent for spinning, which is the central step for the production of wool and strings.
The strings are sent for further recycling, while the wool is transformed into tufts of wool, which are dispatched to tuft storage units, where they are converted into balls of yarn which is the major elements for knitting and making jackets and carpets
